The use of clay as a binder, of course, results in negligible energy consumption in production. Lower production costs mean lower prices for the consumer, enabling those who could not afford Portland cement to purchase and use a quality binding material. Pozzolanic cements additionally have numerous other technical advantages to the user:
Bait stations consist of containers of cellulose materials such as timber, paper or cellulose gel which are either buried in the ground near the building under attack or carefully placed inside near known damage. Bait generally use slow-acting, non-detectable toxins so that the nearly whole colony can be poisoned before adverse effects appear.

If termites show up in the bait stations, then it's time to apply some Hexaflumuron or Chlorfluazuron +1. Chlorfluazuron works on many subterranean species. One product available online and in some hardware stores is called Superway White Ant Termite Bait. It's recommended that you buy the poison only after you've got the termites in the bait ...
I have used both types of traps over the years. Whether you decide to use slat traps or wire nets traps, setting the traps is pretty much the same. I use the same methods for both types of traps with equal success. Slat traps and net traps use the same basic design to catch fish. The key to success is location and proper bait placement.

Well, MSDS for cement puts the LD50 (amount to kill 50% of rats dosed) at 2000mg/kg. If a rat weighs 0.5kg then you would need to feed each rat 1000mg of cement to kill 5 out of 10 rats. Since you have put out 600,000 mg there would need to be more than 600 rats eating the cement to bee less than the LD50.So. my guess is you are killing some rats.

A root canal sealer (cement) is used in combination with the core root canal filling material, e.g. gutta-percha. The primary role of the sealer is to obliterate the irregularities between the root canal wall and the core material. Almost all of today's root canal filling techniques use a sealer to enhance the seal of the root canal filling.15.

Mineralization. Mineralization is usually defined as the production of ammonium from soil organic matter. This is sometimes called ammonification, which is a less confusing term ( Figure 16.1 ): (16.7) organic-N → NH 4 +. Mineralization usually causes only a small fractionation (±1‰) between soil organic matter and soil ammonium.
