This paper investigates the properties of Sago pith waste ash (SPWA) from agricultural waste using different calcination temperatures (500°C, 700°C and 1000°C). Chemical characteristic of SPWA was first investigated by using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) followed by XRD analysis as a verification of the mineralogical phases present in the SPWAs.
Abstract: By utilizing fly ash from the Shanghai Yuqiao municipal solid waste (MSW) incineration plant as the main raw material,wollastonite-based glass-ceramics were successfully synthesized in the laboratory by doping with SiO 2, Al 2 O 3, NaOH as

wollastonite from waste ash rodiziogrill. Wollastonite glassceramics were prepared from waste glass and fly ash by using the primary powder sintering. The sinterability, crystallisation kinetics and mechanical property of glassceramics have been investigated systematically with respect to the influence of particle size of raw materials.

One of the most formed after heating at high temperatures as needles, prisms or ribbons important wollastonite glass-ceramic for applications in the construc- and remains metastable in glassy matrices. tion industry is produced by the Japanese company "Nippon Electric Industrial waste, slag ash, or fly ash is used as raw material in the ...
obtaining wollastonite from various calcium and silicon-containing technogenic wastes accumulated on the territory of the Russian Federation. We proposed a method for producing autoclave needle-like wollastonite from waste of boric acid (borogipsa) containing both calcium and silicon constituents.
Wollastonite glass-ceramics was prepared from the coal fly ash of the thermal power plant and waste glass cullet of the mixed waste glass to solve recycling problems. FE-SEM and EDS analyses of the glass-ceramics indicated that with increasing heat treatment temperature from 850 to 1050 °C, aggregate-shape grains in glass-ceramics matrix were ...
Nowadays, the uses of waste materials such as fly ash [10][11][12][13][14], eggshell [17], soda lime silicate glass [15][16][17] and clam shell [15] become an …
In the study, the kinetics of two-step synthesis of wollastonite from CaO and AlF3 production waste, namely, silica gel, its carbonisation process and the mechanical properties of obtained samples ...
The present study deals with a detailed investigation of bioactivity, degradation and antibacterial activity of silver doped wollastonite (CaSiO 3) synthesized using natural waste.Natural waste such as rice husk ash (RHA) and eggshells have been used as precursors for extracting silica (SiO 2) and calcium oxide (CaO) respectively.Silver oxide (AgO) (0, 2, 4 …
husk ash or rice straw ash in wollastonite production reduces the impact of agricultural waste on pollution and prompts the ensuing conversion of waste into a highly beneficial invention. The use of
high-purity wollastonite using abandoned bio-waste, i.e. eggshells and rice husk ash (RHA), by a conventional solid-state route. We also compare the characteristics of β and α-wollastonite. To the best of our knowledge, there has been no such investigation of CaSiO 3 ceramic materials produced with a combi-nation of eggshell and RHA.

Lastly, diopside - wollastonite (SiO2-Al2O3-CaO )glass-ceramics from borate wastes, fly ash and soda lime silica glass waste were successfully obtained with controlled rapid sintering between 950 and 1050ºC. The wollastonite and diopside crystal sizes were improved by adopting varied combinations of formulations and heating rates.
